I thought this YTOO May lineup was going to be simple.
Eight dessert-inspired e-liquids for Malaysia. Cheesecake, taro, chocolate, tea, coconut ice. On paper, it sounds like a sweet table after dinner. Nice, predictable, maybe a little too comfortable.
But after spending time with the collection, I ended up having a very clear reaction: the taro flavors are the heart of this release. Especially Taro Ice Cream. That one made me hungry in the most unfair way.
This new YTOO Malaysia set includes eight flavors built around local dessert preferences: Blueberry Cheesecake, Berry Cheesecake, Taro Cheesecake, White Chocolate, Lemon Tart, Jasmine Tea, Coconut Ice, and Taro Ice Cream. It is sweet, creamy, sometimes refreshing, and very clearly made for a market that understands dessert culture deeply.
And yes, I have favorites. Strong ones.
Taro Ice Cream Is the Flavor That Won Me Over 🍦
Let me say it directly: Taro Ice Cream is my number one from this lineup.
The first puff opens with that mellow, powdery taro aroma. Not sharp, not artificial, not the kind of purple flavor that only tastes like sugar and color. This one has a soft, rounded taro body that feels familiar and comforting, almost like walking past a dessert stall and suddenly realizing you are hungry.
Then the sweetness comes in.
And it is quite sweet, I will not pretend otherwise. But for dessert lovers, that is exactly the point. It has the creamy, milky body of ice cream wrapped around the taro note, so the sweetness feels thick and satisfying instead of thin or candy-like. The finish is smooth, soft, and lingering, with a little creamy coolness that makes the whole thing feel like a frozen taro dessert rather than just a taro-flavored liquid.
This is the kind of flavor you do not really analyze after a while. You just keep going back to it. One puff, then another, then suddenly you are thinking about actual taro ice cream. Dangerous behavior, honestly.

Taro Cheesecake Feels More Grown-Up 🍰
If Taro Ice Cream is the sweet, hungry-making winner, Taro Cheesecake is the smoother and slightly more mature sibling.
The taro comes through first again, but here it is less cold and more velvety. The cheesecake note gives it weight. You get that creamy cheese body in the middle of the puff, adding a gentle tang and a fuller mouthfeel without dragging the flavor into heaviness.
What I like is how the taro and cheesecake do not fight each other. Taro can be a delicate flavor. Put too much cream on top and it disappears. YTOO keeps it visible. The taro stays soft and mellow, while the cheesecake brings just enough richness to make it feel like an actual dessert slice.
For me, Taro Cheesecake sits right beside Taro Ice Cream as the other main reason this lineup works. It is less playful, more polished, and probably better for someone who likes creamy dessert flavors but does not want the full sweetness of ice cream every session.

Berry Cheesecake Is My Second Easy Pick 🫐
Berry Cheesecake surprised me because it is not as heavy as the name suggests.
I expected something thick, sweet, and maybe a little too much after a few puffs. Instead, it comes across less sweet and more refreshing than the taro favorites. The berry layer gives it a brighter opening, with blueberry depth, raspberry lift, and strawberry sweetness all moving together. It is fruity, but not messy.
The cheesecake part comes in softly underneath. It does not dominate. It rounds out the berries, gives them a smoother body, and makes the exhale feel comfortable rather than sour or dry. That smoothness is what I enjoyed most here. Berry Cheesecake is easy to vape because it gives you dessert mood without making your mouth feel coated in sugar.
This is my second best-loved flavor in the lineup. If Taro Ice Cream is for dessert lovers who want full sweetness, Berry Cheesecake is for people who want something creamier than fruit, but fresher than cake.

Blueberry Cheesecake Is the More Classic Version 🫐
Blueberry Cheesecake is the safer, more familiar cheesecake profile.
The blueberry opens with a sweet-tart fruit note, then the cream cheese softens it in the middle. The finish has that biscuit-crust feeling that makes the flavor read clearly as cheesecake rather than just blueberry cream. It is balanced and comfortable, especially if you like classic bakery-style profiles.
Compared with Berry Cheesecake, though, I find this one a little more traditional. That is not a bad thing. Some vapers want exactly that. But the triple-berry mix in Berry Cheesecake gives more lift and makes the flavor feel more alive over a longer session.
Lemon Tart Cuts Through the Sweetness 🍋
Lemon Tart is the flavor I would reach for when I need a break from the creamy ones.
The lemon comes in bright and slightly acidic, then the tart base adds a buttery bakery note underneath. It is not as emotionally cozy as the taro flavors, but it plays an important role in the lineup. It resets the palate. After several sweet dessert flavors, that lemon edge feels useful.
The best part is that it does not become harsh. Lemon e-liquids can easily turn cleaning-product sharp if the balance is wrong. Here it stays more pastry than pure citrus. Refreshing, but still dessert.
White Chocolate Is Simple, Maybe Too Simple 🍫
White Chocolate is exactly what it sounds like: milky, sweet, soft, and clean.
There is no cocoa bitterness, no fruit, no tea, no ice trying to make things complicated. Just a smooth white chocolate sweetness with a light vanilla-style finish. For some vapers, that simplicity will be the charm. It is easy, creamy, and gentle.
For me personally, it is a little too straightforward compared with Taro Cheesecake or Berry Cheesecake. I wanted one more layer. Maybe a wafer note, maybe a little toasted milk, something to make it more memorable. Still, as a sweet base flavor or a quiet dessert option, it does its job.
Jasmine Tea Is the Clean Break 🍵
Jasmine Tea is the least dessert-like flavor here, and that makes it useful.
The jasmine opens gently, floral but not perfume-heavy. Then the tea note appears with a light green-tea dryness and a clean finish. There is very little sweetness compared with the rest of the lineup, so it feels like a pause between richer flavors.
I would not put it above the taro or cheesecake options, because this collection is strongest when it leans into dessert. But for Malaysia’s hot weather, Jasmine Tea makes sense. It gives the lineup breathing room.

Coconut Ice Belongs in the Heat 🥥
Coconut Ice is another refreshing one, and probably the most obviously tropical.
It does not taste like thick coconut milk. It is closer to clear coconut water with a cool finish. Light sweetness, clean coconut aroma, and an icy exhale that makes the whole flavor feel more beach drink than dessert bowl.
Personally, I prefer the richer taro profiles, but Coconut Ice is easy to understand for the Malaysian market. Hot day, sweet coconut, cooling finish. No mystery there. It works.
What This Lineup Gets Right ✅
The best thing about YTOO’s May dessert set is that the flavors do not all chase the same kind of sweetness.
Taro Ice Cream is full dessert sweetness. Taro Cheesecake is creamier and more refined. Berry Cheesecake is smoother and fresher. Lemon Tart brings acidity. Jasmine Tea and Coconut Ice clean the palate. That variety matters because dessert collections can become tiring fast when every bottle feels like sugar on top of sugar.
The honest downside is also clear: if you dislike sweet profiles, Taro Ice Cream may be too much for you. It is quite sweet. I love that about it, but not everyone will. White Chocolate may also feel too simple if you want layered complexity.
But for dessert lovers? This lineup has real charm.
Final Verdict: Start With Taro Ice Cream 🏆
If you only try one flavor from YTOO’s May Malaysia lineup, I would start with Taro Ice Cream. It is sweet, mellow, creamy, and genuinely delicious. It made me hungry, which is probably the most honest compliment I can give a dessert e-liquid.
If you want a second, pick Berry Cheesecake. It is less sweet, more refreshing, smooth, and comfortable enough for longer sessions. And if you already know you love taro, do not skip Taro Cheesecake. That one gives you the same comforting taro soul in a richer, more polished dessert form.
My personal top three: Taro Ice Cream, Taro Cheesecake, and Berry Cheesecake.
YTOO clearly understood the assignment here. Malaysia loves dessert flavors, but not all sweetness is the same. This May collection proves that when taro, cheesecake, tea, citrus, and coconut are handled with balance, dessert e-liquid can feel smooth, emotional, and honestly… a little appetite-threatening.
